Institutional Memberships

MTA Institutional Members work across the Americas and represent a variety of disciplines, sizes and board types. When a museum joins MTA as an Institutional Member, the membership is also extended to the Board Chair and Officers. While all members receive MTA newsletters, access to the Online Member Resource Library and discounts to forums, Meet-UPS! and workshops, Institutional Members also receive the following:

​With the purchase of MTA's Templates for Trustees book series, Institutional members receive free setup for the web-based customizable templates and ongoing assistance from MTA staff. We’re here to help answer any questions that may arise as you and your board customize your templates to organize your thoughts, identify your priorities and plan your actions.

AAM Advocacy Day Discounted Registration

At MTA, our board and staff are committed to advocating for the museum field. Each year, we invite our Institutional Members to join us at AAM’s annual Advocacy Day at a discounted rate. You will have the opportunity to advocate for your institution and network with fellow trustees, directors and senior staff from across the country.
