Membership to Museum Trustee Association

The Museum Trustee Association (MTA) is the only organization dedicated to enhancing the Museum Trustee/Director partnership and provides necessary programs and tools to educate Trustees and staff on Board operations and governance. With your membership, you will have the opportunity to network with fellow trustees and the directors and staff who partner and collaborate with them. By joining MTA, you will learn how to make your museum more effective, transparent and sustainable. Museum trustees face unique responsibilities and challenges regardless of museum size and category, which is why the MTA membership is both diverse and cohesive.

  • M1 - $150.00

    • Annual Operating Budget: less than $250,000

    M2 - $250.00

    • Annual Operating Budget: $250,000-$499,999

    M3 - $500.00

    • Annual Operating Budget: $500,000-$1,999,999

    M4 - $750.00

    • Annual Operating Budget: $2 million-$4,999,999

    M5 - $1,000.00

    • Annual Operating Budget: $5 million and above

    • Memberships include Board Chair & Board Members Become MTA Members
